It is being sold because this no longer needed by the original service. There are two extremely tough sheaths separated by a kevlar braid. This cable is ideal for all weather applications and can be used under water, ground, on towers or any outside runs.

Inside the inner sheath is a 7 lead spiral wrap,6 copper one filler, all embedded in waterproof stickily sealant to prevent water crawl if is breached. See the photos for a walk through of construction. The cable diameter is some-where between allow one working day for packing.

Re connection is normally done using crimp connectors soldering possible with proper tinning. This was very expensive cable. The copper cabling is comprised of six wag stranded color coded wires interlaced with cable packing kevlar.

This is priced at about 2 per foot which a bargain.

For sale offer: 130 feet of sonar fish towing control cable removed from service and available because this section was too short its original application. It is kevlar reinforced and very tough. These are normally employed by crimping potting to make fast production but you can solder as well. Buyer pays a small box charge, usually around 3 for re boxing.
